私も愛用しております SURLY の DISC TRUCKER 。
これが、新モデルでは、スルーアクスル化されるようです。
やっぱり、昨今の時代の流れとして、
「ディスクブレーキならスルーアクスル」
…ですからね。
このところ、従来からのモデルが廃盤になり、新しいモデルに入れ替わっていっている SURLY の動きでしたので、むしろ DISC TRUCKER が生き残ったことに驚きでした。

やっぱり、ガチのツーリングバイクとしてのコンセプトは、今後も生き続けるということでしょうか。嬉しいですね！
世界を駆けまわるツーリングバイクとしては、どこでも補修できるように、「なるべく世界中で入手できる一般的なパーツを使用する。特殊なパーツは使わない。」…というのが基本となっている DISC TRUCKER だと思うのですけど、いまやスルーアクスルは普通のパーツとなった…ということなのでしょうか。
いずれにしろ、こういうモデルは生き残って欲しいと願っている私ですので、大変喜ばしいことであります。
